I haven't gone on a bagel ride in about three weeks so it was good to get back on the bike. Plus, the weather is warmer now so I wasn't freezing, which was nice.
I used the Komoot recommended route and it took me on some nice bike trails that I didn't know about, including the Rose Canyon bike trail that appears to have been finished in the last few months because there's still a temporary fence and construction workers were still working on other parts nearby.
I'm only giving the bagel shop three stars. Even though the bagel was good, they didn't have a bathroom, they were all out of knives (so I used a stir stick to spread my cheese and a fork to split the bagel), and no fountain drink so I couldn't get a refill on my Coke Zero and had to buy a water (for $2.99) for the ride home.

Daily Bagel, University City
The ride along the coast to Daily Bagel was good but cold. As for the shop, I almost gave the Daily Bagel only one star because the server was a bit rude, they only had cans of Diet Coke, and I had to ask for napkins whereupon they only gave me two of the crappy, super-thin ones like you get at a Chinese restaurant (see below). Unfortunately, I needed more than that because my Laughing Cow cheese got crushed and split open, smearing cheese all over the inside of my bike bag. Fortunately, I had some decent napkins from Einstein Bros stashed away in my bag so I was able to use those to clean things up.
I ended up giving Daily Bagel two stars because the cranberry bagel was actually pretty good. Not great, but good. I don't plan on visiting these guys again, especially since there's an Einstein Bros about a half mile further up the road.
